Airline is Danish Company, whichmakes design, develops and produces direct prints and transfers.
Airline is Danish Company, which develops and produces direct prints and transfers for large customers within textile industry in Northern Europe. We have more than 25 years been working with textile print on piece cut and have through that gained large experience in ink and print on textile. Airline has through the time primary been a sub-supplier to the Danish textile industry. Its primary goal is customers’ order execution; however we are also able to help our clients with motif selection / print design. We are mainly printing on cut fabric; however printing on t-shirts, caps, bags, pants etc. is also practiced. Our primary customers are – Helge Rasmussen Trikotagefabrik, United Textile Group, Novotex and BHI. These companies are producing to Hennes & Maurtz, Otto Versand, Bestseller, etc. Airline was founded in November 1982 by M. Larsen and L. Jensen. The start was very successful and soon the production was going on in three places in town – Neptunvej, Hojrisalle and Smedevej streets. In 1990 company was sold to three employees Inger Hansen, Bo Troelsen and Bent Norgaard. In 1996 Norgaard sold his share to Inger and Bo, current owners of Airline. In 2003 Airline started a subsidiary company in Ukraine. Direct print means that ink is printed directly on the textile, also known as screen printing. At Airline we can print up to 7-8 colours both on white and dark coloured fabrics. Types of print: Standard Opaque ink Puff Glitter Flock Discharge Dot ink Pearl ink Metallic ink 3.D Metal-foil Luminous Reflex Beads Stone Neon Process print Ausbrenner Simulated process Transfer print means that the ink (motif) is printed on paper where the last printed layer is special powder glue. After that the print is put on the garment with the print touching the fabric. With the help of the heat press the print is transferred to the fabric.Types of transfers: Standard Glitter Plastisol Trans-foil Trans-metallic Trans-pearl Digital Litho-transfer Transfers are ideal for logos. One of Airline’s strongest sides is the continual use of water based textile ink. This has lead to the development of environment-friendly print technique benefiting both to our costumers and printers. We prioritise to use PVC free ink, when it is possible. We are working hard to keep the demands to Oeko-Tex 100, and to the EU-Label “The Flower”. Most of our ink is already certificated to these labels. And since 1995 we have been certificated to Oeko-Tex for clothes to children under 2 year
